Pune : MIM Lok Sabha prospect Anis Sundke has introduced that a memorial to Tipu Sultan might be built-in Pune.
Reacting to this, BJP metropolis device President Dheeraj Ghate claimed, “We will not allow the memorial to get designed on Pune’s land underneath any circumstances. We are going to lodge a law enforcement criticism On this regard.”

Ghate mentioned, “The BJP strongly opposes the proposed memorial to Tipu Sultan. He tortured the Hindus. Sundke is trying to push a wedge amongst two communities by elevating the memorial difficulty over the elections. a lot of people made an effort to celebrate the birth anniversary of Tipu Sultan. The BJP vehemently opposed it. We received’t allow this to occur at any Price.”
Ghate stated, “Pune is named a cultural centre. lots of historic personalities have been connected to it. Tipu Sultan wasn't a fantastic leader. He killed thousands of Hindu Adult males and girls. Hindutva outfits won't ever allow the memorial to come up. We're going to approach the police. it's an make an effort to polarise votes. The BJP strongly condemns this.”
